ECO Owl and Kestrel Nest Box Project Project - 2024

ECO Owl and Kestrel Nest Box Appeal

Dear Supporter,
We're looking to raise £7500 in material costs from a supportive Owl Community to help cover the material cost and fixings needed for our charity to produce and install 100 x ECO friendly Nest Boxes in support of Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Little Owls and Kestrels.
That's the vision driving our Owl and Kestrel Project initiative here at the Barn Owl Centre of Gloucestershire.
Our ECO Owl and Kestrel Box Project aims to make this vision a reality by producing and installing 100x ECO Owl Boxes across our region. But we need your help to kickstart this vital project.

Project Details
At the heart of our project lies innovation and sustainability. We're proud to introduce the use of 9mm Recyclable Plastic sheets called Stokbord for constructing these Nest Boxes. Not only will they be strong and durable, they will be weather-resistant and fully rot proof, but they also support our commitment to environmental conservation.

To ensure every penny goes toward materials, we can keep costs down by using our own resources by manufacturing the Boxes ourselves using our two CNC Routers Machines within our Owl Box Workshop. This means every donation will directly contribute to the materials and fixings needed for the ECO Nest Boxes and their installation.

Careful Planning
Once made and ready to install, we will not be just randomly placing these boxes. Our dedicated Conservation Team and volunteers will meticulously select and plan the site locations for installation. Each site visit that will take place will work to ensure optimal potential for Owl and Kestrel success to raise a family.

Project Cost for 100x ECO Nest Boxes £7500
To get this project off the ground, we need to raise up to £7500 to cover the costs of 100x 9mm 8x4 Stokbord Sheets and the necessary fixings for installation.

Your Support Matters
Every contribution, no matter how small, adds up and makes a significant impact. Your donation will directly fund the materials needed to manufacture and install these eco-friendly boxes.

Join Us
By supporting our ECO Owl and Kestrel Box Project, you're not just donating; you're investing in the future of our local wildlife and ecosystems. Your generosity will create safe havens for owls and kestrels, contributing to the overall health and balance of our environment.

Project Updates
We're committed to transparency and accountability. As soon as we have the materials in hand, we'll provide regular updates on the project's progress. You'll see firsthand the impact of your support.
On behalf of the Barn Owl Centre, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for considering a donation to our ECO Owl and Kestrel Nest Box Project. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter, greener future for Owl & Kestrel generations to come.
Donate now and be a part of something truly special.

Thank you!
