Is the centre open to the public?
We are only open to pre-booked visits only, please look at the Experiences we offer, which supports all age groups.

Mondays we are closed but the office is still open for those who need to contact us by phone. From Tuesday to Sunday we are open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, this is for visitors who have booked into Flying Experiences, Photography Days, Children's Group Bookings, and for Owl Nest Box Sales.
Directions plus an important note for SAT NAV users.
The link road that runs past the Barn Owl Centre was opened in 2008, to this date it will not be shown on all mapping systems!
We can be found along Secunda Way, which is a section of the Hempsted Link Rd (A430), look out for road signs Hempsted Meadows and Netheridge.
For sat nav users try to stay on the link road until you see the above signs, do not let your sat nav re-direct you, it is important to note that we are not in Hempsted Village or down the old Bristol Road.
When you are on the A430 look for a small number of traditional road signs which will say Barn Owl Centre, these are small white signs with black lettering. When you see these signs you are very close to arriving, look out for our location sign in the image on this page, this is right by the Centre's entrance and visible from the A430 as you approach the traffic lights. Now take the turning into Netheridge.

Getting to us by Bus?
If you are catching the bus, please use bus number 66 service from Gloucester Bus Station.

For anyone wishing to pick up a Bird of Prey Experience Gift Voucher, a sponsorship/membership gift or to pick up an Owl Nest Box, please call us first to arrange collection.
